Album describes altered states of consciousness with 4 different musical parts, representing 4 distinctive ASC experiences suggested by some psychologists:
1. Activation
2. Awareness Span
3. Self-Awareness
4. Sensory Dynamics
First part (Activation) is not ambient music at all. It was deliberately made to sound like disco / funk instrumental from the 80's, just to be altered into completely ambient part 2 (Awareness Span) and transformed further on into deep dark ambient / hypnotic acid in part 3 (Self-Awareness). Album finishes off with part 4 (Sensory Dynamics), which is actually altered version of part 1.
All 4 tracks are different although intertwined with certain sounds and melodies appearing throughout 2, 3 or all 4 parts.
For best experience listen from beginning to the end.
Album is dedicated to Peter Kuhlmann, who sadly passed away in November 2012
